IKU 2026 Socialization, FISIP UNRI Combines Farewell and Welcome Ceremony, Retirement Tribute, Distribution of Basic Food Packages, and Ramadan Lecture

Pekanbaru, February 13, 2026 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), held the Socialization of the 2026 Main Performance Indicators (Indikator Kinerja Utama/IKU) of Diktisaintek, combined with a series of events including a farewell and welcome ceremony for officials, a retirement tribute, the distribution of basic food packages, and a religious lecture in welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijri, on Friday (13/2) at 09.00 a.m. WIB. The event took place at the Drs. Sutan Balia Auditorium, FISIP UNRI, and was attended by the entire academic community of FISIP UNRI, as well as the Head of LPMPP UNRI, Dr. Belli Nasution, S.IP., M.A.

In his remarks, the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., emphasized the importance of a shared understanding of the 2026 Diktisaintek IKU as a strategic guideline for improving institutional performance in the fields of education, research, community service, and institutional governance.

Entering the main agenda, Prof. Dr. Rahman Karnila, S.Pi., M.Si., as the Chair of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of UNRI, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the 2026 Diktisaintek IKU at UNRI. This session aimed to provide the academic community with a thorough understanding of performance targets, achievement strategies, and the roles of each unit in supporting the attainment of these indicators.

The event then continued with the farewell and welcome ceremony for the Secretary of the Department of Sociology and the Coordinator of the Master’s Program (S2) in Sociology. On this occasion, the handover of duties was conducted from Drs. Yoskar Kadrisman, M.Si., to Resdati, S.Sos., M.Si., as Secretary of the Department of Sociology, and from Dr. Hesti Asriwandari, M.Si., to Dr. T. Romi Marnelly, S.Sos., M.Si., as Coordinator of the Master’s Program (S2) in Sociology. The moment was solemn and warm, reflecting appreciation for the dedication of the outgoing officials and support for the incoming officials in carrying out their responsibilities.

The agenda then proceeded with a retirement tribute to Dr. Nurhamlin, M.S., a lecturer in Sociology who has served for 40 years. The extended family of FISIP UNRI expressed their gratitude and appreciation for his service, contributions, and dedication. An atmosphere of emotion and togetherness colored the farewell ceremony.

Within the same series of events, the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of FISIP UNRI also carried out a social care initiative through the distribution of basic food packages to all cleaning staff and security personnel of FISIP UNRI, presented by Mrs. Deli Meyzi, as a form of appreciation for their dedication and important role in maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and security within the faculty environment, especially ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.

As the closing of the event series, a religious lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. H. Akbarizan, M.Pd., M.A., Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of Pekanbaru City, in welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H. The lecture aimed to enhance faith, strengthen spirituality, and foster a spirit of togetherness and social awareness among the academic community. The event was then officially concluded and ended with a group photo session.

Through this activity, FISIP UNRI hopes that the entire academic community will gain a deeper understanding of the institution’s policy direction and performance targets, while also strengthening the spirit of togetherness, kinship, and collective commitment in realizing FISIP UNRI as an excellent, competitive, and value-driven faculty.
