FISIP PPID Profile
The development of electronic or non-electronic information and communication technology has entered various fields of life. These developments mean that all elements within these fields must keep up with existing progress.
The birth of the Public Information Disclosure Act No. 14 of 2008 mandates every Public Body to provide access for every public information applicant.
Public Bodies include executive, legislative, and judicial institutions, as well as other bodies related to the administration of the state.
Definition of Public Information
Information generated, managed, and received by PPID related to state administrators and the public interest.
PPID Responsibility
Responsible for storing, documenting, providing, and serving information within the related institution.The Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) at the University of Riau, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, is fully committed to serving Public Information Applicants who submit requests for Public Information in a transparent and accountable manner.

Duties of PPID FISIP UNRI
Plan, organize, implement, supervise, and evaluate the implementation of information and documentation service and processing activities at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau, supported by the Implementing Information Management and Documentation Officer.
PPID Responsibilities
Collection of public information within FISIP UNRI.
Submission of public information from all work units.
Implementation of public information testing (Exempted Category).
Provision of open information services.
Settlement of Information service disputes.
