FISIP PPID Aims to Maintain First Place as the Best Implementing PPID at Universitas Riau

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), held a coordination meeting on updating the website of the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) as a follow-up to the official letter from Universitas Riau regarding the monitoring and evaluation of public information disclosure, which will take place from 8–12 December 2025.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., the Head of General Administration, all Working Group (Pokja) Leaders, and the entire FISIP PPID Team.

During the occasion, all teams expressed their commitment to strengthening the faculty’s readiness to maintain its achievement as the Best Implementing PPID 1 at Universitas Riau in 2025.

Dean of FISIP, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., stated that last year’s accomplishment should serve as motivation to further improve the quality of public information services.
“FISIP earned the title of Best Implementing PPID 1 in 2024. This year, in 2025, we must work even harder to maintain it. Information disclosure is part of the faculty’s accountability and proof that FISIP consistently provides professional and transparent public services.”

Dr. Meyzi also encouraged all units to accelerate data updating and ensure that all mandatory information is available according to the required standards.

Similarly, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., emphasized the importance of integrating academic data, faculty services, and activity documentation into the PPID panel on the FISIP website.
“As a faculty that achieved the top ranking last year, we have a responsibility to maintain quality. Updating information is not merely an administrative task, but part of the academic quality culture that we must continuously strengthen.”
Dr. Auradian added that cross-unit collaboration is essential to provide accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible public information.

The Head of FISIP PPID, Dr. Fajriani Ananda, S.Sos., M.Si., explained the technical steps the team will take to fulfill the assessment criteria.
“We have mapped out the updating needs across six main aspects: leadership commitment, information quality, policies, innovation, digitalization, and facilities and infrastructure. We will collaborate with all divisions so that data strengthening and information delivery can be carried out consistently, in a standardized manner, and accurately.”

Through this coordination meeting, FISIP UNRI reiterated its readiness to face the 2025 monitoring and evaluation of public information disclosure. With the collaboration of all divisions, strengthened leadership commitment, and structured data updating, FISIP UNRI is optimistic about maintaining its title as the Best Implementing PPID 1 and continuing to be a leading faculty in transparency, accountability, and the quality of public information services.
