Strengthening Performance Accountability: FISIP Evaluates the 2025 LAKIN and Independent SAKIP

Pekanbaru, 28 November 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI) held an Evaluation Meeting for the Government Agency Performance Accountability Report (LAKIN) and the 2025 Independent SAKIP. The meeting took place in the Akar Beluru Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of FISIP UNRI, and was attended by faculty leaders, the Head of General Administration, the Head of the Working Group Team, and all team members.

This evaluation meeting is part of the faculty’s efforts to strengthen governance, enhance performance accountability, and ensure that all work units are aligned with the institutionally established SAKIP targets.

Dean of FISIP UNRI: Strengthening the Performance System Must Be Sustainable

Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., emphasized FISIP’s commitment to maintaining transparent and measurable performance management. “Evaluating LAKIN and Independent SAKIP is not merely an administrative obligation but an essential performance reflection mechanism. FISIP must ensure that every program, activity, and output aligns with the university’s strategic plan. Through this evaluation, we identify weaknesses, reinforce strengths, and ensure that the faculty’s performance remains on a strong accountability track,” said Dr. Meyzi.

Vice Dean for Academic Affairs: Integrating Academic Performance with SAKIP

Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., stressed that academic performance is a key component in assessing the faculty’s overall performance. “Academic performance must be demonstrated in measurable ways through indicators aligned with SAKIP. This includes the quality of learning, achievements in the tridharma, and academic innovations that have a direct impact on society. Evaluations like this help us identify areas that need strengthening and guide how our academic strategies should be directed,” he explained.

Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs: Efficiency, Compliance, and Strengthening Performance Data

Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., highlighted budget efficiency and the importance of strengthening data as the foundation for preparing LAKIN and SAKIP. “FISIP must ensure that budget utilization aligns with performance targets and efficiency principles. Strengthening the performance data base is a priority so that every achievement can be accurately accounted for. With orderly governance, the preparation of LAKIN and the implementation of SAKIP can run more effectively and credibly,” she stated.

Through this evaluation, FISIP UNRI has formulated follow-up measures to improve performance achievements and enhance the faculty’s SAKIP score. Strengthening data integration, improving monitoring mechanisms, and aligning performance indicators are the main focuses to be followed up by each unit. (RIRY)
