Pekanbaru — The National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) has officially announced the results of the 2025 Archival Supervision of Universitas Riau. The assessment combined the Internal Archival System Audit (ASKI), weighted at 40 percent, and the External Archival System Audit (ASKE), weighted at 60 percent. Based on the accumulated scores, Universitas Riau achieved a CC (Fair) rating.
Amid the overall university-level results, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI) recorded an outstanding achievement. Based on the ASKI archival supervision results for Level 2 Work Units (UK2), which include faculties and institutions within Universitas Riau, FISIP secured first place at the university level.
The assessment was conducted through five sampling units representing the implementation of archival management in each work unit. The results showed that FISIP met most of the established archival instruments, covering policy aspects, management of active and inactive records, as well as support in terms of human resources and infrastructure.
Dean of FISIP, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., stated that this achievement is the result of consistency and collective awareness in fostering a culture of orderly archival management within the faculty.
“Archival management is not merely an administrative obligation, but an essential part of professional and accountable institutional governance. This achievement motivates us to continue upholding this commitment,” said Dr. Meyzi.
In the same vein, Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., emphasized that the results also serve as a reminder that archival supervision is an ongoing process.
“We view this result as a starting point. Moving forward, FISIP will continue to make improvements, strengthen systems, and enhance human resource capacity so that archival management becomes more structured and better prepared for future supervision.”
FISIP’s achievement is expected to serve as a model of best practice for other work units within Universitas Riau, while also reinforcing a shared commitment to realizing orderly, accountable, and sustainable archival governance.
