Pekanbaru, 8 December 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), became the first faculty to undergo the 2025 Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) for PPID Implementing Units. The evaluation was conducted by the Central PPID of Universitas Riau, with an evaluator team consisting of Clara Yolandika, S.P., M.Si., Shaffia Mia, S.Kom., and Mukmini, S.I.Kom.
The monitoring visit was welcomed directly by the Dean of FISIP, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si.; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A.; Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si.; Head of FISIP PPID, Dr. Fajriani Ananda, S.Sos., M.Si., along with the team; the Head of Administration; and all Heads of Working Groups (Pokja). As the first faculty to be evaluated, FISIP demonstrated full readiness through presentations of performance achievements, innovations, and supporting evidence for public information transparency services.
During the presentation session, Dean Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto emphasized that leadership commitment is the key foundation in strengthening information transparency governance. He highlighted that FISIP PPID not only focuses on fulfilling service obligations but also on developing innovations and inclusive services.
“FISIP is committed to building a strong and sustainable culture of transparency. Digital transformation and inclusive public services, including disability-friendly services, are essential components of our effort to ensure fair access to information for all,” said Dr. Meyzi.

FISIP implements a well-documented archive management system, ensuring that all activity records and PPID service documentation are neatly stored and easily accessible.
“As a PPID Implementing Unit, we ensure that all information service procedures run according to standards, are well documented, and easily accessible. Our digitalization efforts, data integration, and inclusive service facilities reflect our commitment to providing fast, transparent, and accountable public services. This evaluation serves as an important momentum for us to continuously improve service quality, strengthen coordination across units, and ensure that FISIP consistently upholds the highest standards of public information transparency,” stated Dr. Fajriani Ananda, Head of FISIP PPID.

The Monev team appreciated FISIP’s efforts in providing fast, comprehensive, and easily accessible public information. Leadership commitment, availability and quality of information, public transparency strategies, implementation and innovation, digitalization, and supporting facilities were key assessment indicators.
Evaluator Clara Yolandika, S.P., M.Si., from the Central PPID, expressed her appreciation for FISIP’s readiness and progress:
“FISIP PPID has shown remarkable progress. However, maintaining the position as the Best PPID Implementing Unit I is certainly not easy. FISIP must continue to innovate, strengthen service channels, and ensure inclusivity—including disability-friendly facilities—to maintain the highest standards of public information transparency,” said Clara.

FISIP has implemented clear strategies in managing public information, ensuring the availability of various service channels (service counter, email, website, Instagram, online forms), massive information dissemination through the website, Instagram, and the e-Tabloid FISIPVerse, inclusivity for all groups, and digitalization of academic documents. These strategies reinforce governance and clarify service workflows for public information applicants.
To support modern public information services, FISIP has launched several innovations, such as conducting an Information Transparency Workshop featuring a former commissioner of the Central Information Commission, transparency-focused podcasts, a disability-friendly website, and information transparency campaigns through the website, posters, infographics, and Instagram.
FISIP strengthens its digital transformation through three flagship platforms:
1. PIAWAI – FISIP’s integrated staffing system.
2. FISIPVerse – FISIP’s e-Tabloid.
3. Si Pirang (Prototype) – FISIP’s room and facility information system.
These innovations demonstrate FISIP’s strong commitment to improving service efficiency and information accuracy.
Over the past year, FISIP has achieved several notable accomplishments:
1. Best PPID Implementing Unit I, Universitas Riau.
2. Top 3 PPID Implementing Units in Indonesia.
3. ISO 21001:2018 Certification.
These achievements serve as a strong foundation for FISIP to once again achieve optimal results in the 2025 Phase 2 PPID Implementing Unit Monitoring and Evaluation.
