The UNRI DIPA research funding scheme itself is provided by Universitas Riau as a form of institutional support to strengthen lecturers’ research and community service activities. Through this funding scheme, lecturers are encouraged to produce high-quality research that is relevant to societal needs and capable of making meaningful contributions to the development of knowledge, addressing social issues, and improving the academic performance of higher education institutions. Therefore, a thorough understanding of proposal submission mechanisms, proposal substance, targeted outputs, and accountability processes is essential for every applicant.

During this session, lecturers took the opportunity to consult and discuss various aspects of the proposals they plan to submit, including refining research ideas, ensuring methodological suitability, assessing budget feasibility, and determining expected research and community service outputs.
Through this Proposal Clinic activity, it is expected that FISIP UNRI lecturers will be able to produce research and community service proposals that are of higher quality, more competitive, and aligned with the standards of the university’s internal funding scheme, thereby enhancing academic performance while strengthening the university’s contribution to knowledge development and community empowerment.
