FISIP UNRI Holds Annual Tax Return (SPT) Reporting Assistance through the Coretax Application in Collaboration with the UNRI Tax Center

Pekanbaru, March 13, 2026 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), organized an assistance program for the submission of Annual Tax Returns (SPT) through the Coretax application in collaboration with the UNRI Tax Center on Friday (13/3/2026). The activity was held in the Lecturer Room on the 1st Floor of the Dean’s Building at FISIP UNRI, starting at 08:30 AM WIB until completion.

The activity was intended for lecturers and administrative staff within FISIP UNRI to provide convenience, understanding, and technical assistance in submitting Annual Tax Returns (SPT) digitally. Through this assistance program, FISIP UNRI demonstrates its commitment to encouraging orderly tax administration while strengthening accountable and transparent institutional governance.

The assistance session was attended by the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., the Head of the General Affairs Division, the Heads of Working Teams (Pokja), as well as the Head of PPID FISIP UNRI. From the UNRI Tax Center, the activity was attended by the Head of the UNRI Tax Center Drs. H. Rusli, S.E., M.M.Ak., CA, accompanied by the Secretary Nita Wahyuni, SST.Pa., M.Si., BKP., CTT., and volunteers Alysa Anjany and Lala Lastri.

The Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, stated that this activity represents a concrete step toward building a culture of tax compliance within the campus environment. He emphasized that orderly and timely tax reporting is an important part of good institutional governance.

“This assistance program not only helps with the technical aspects of SPT reporting but also strengthens collective awareness that tax compliance is part of institutional integrity and responsibility,” said Dr. Meyzi.

Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Mayarni, added that the use of the Coretax application in tax reporting is part of the transformation toward more modern and efficient administrative services. According to her, the assistance program greatly helps lecturers and staff understand the correct reporting procedures.

“Through this activity, we hope that all lecturers and administrative staff will be able to submit their Annual Tax Returns after receiving direct explanations and assistance from a competent team,” she stated.

Meanwhile, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Auradian Marta, assessed that the activity also holds educational value for the academic community. According to him, compliance with tax obligations is part of fostering an orderly administrative culture within higher education institutions.

“Ease of access to reporting through digital applications such as Coretax must be balanced with proper understanding. Therefore, assistance activities like this are highly relevant to support lecturers and administrative staff in fulfilling their obligations correctly,” he explained.

The Secretary of the UNRI Tax Center, Nita Wahyuni, stated that this assistance program represents the UNRI Tax Center’s concrete support in helping the academic community understand the procedures for submitting Annual Tax Returns through the Coretax application. She added that the presence of the assistance team is expected to simplify the reporting process while increasing taxpayer compliance within the university environment.

“We strive to provide practical and easy-to-understand assistance so that lecturers and administrative staff can submit their Annual Tax Returns properly, accurately, and in accordance with the applicable regulations,” she said.

Through this Annual Tax Return reporting assistance program, FISIP UNRI hopes that lecturers and administrative staff will be increasingly supported in fulfilling their tax obligations accurately, easily, and in accordance with regulations. This collaboration with the UNRI Tax Center is also part of an effort to provide responsive, educational, and impactful services for the academic community. (Enggy-RIRY)
