FISIP UNRI Receives the 2026 Early-Year Review from UNRI’s Internal Audit Unit

Pekanbaru, January 13, 2026 — The Internal Audit Unit (Satuan Pengawas Internal/SPI) of Universitas Riau conducted the 2026 Early-Year Review at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Riau. The activity took place in the Dean’s Office of FISIP UNRI, second floor of the Dean’s Building, starting at 10:00 a.m. WIB.

The review forms part of the university’s internal oversight agenda to ensure that planning, management, and implementation of work programs and budgets at the faculty level are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations. The review specifically covered aspects of financial management, State-Owned Assets (Barang Milik Negara/BMN), and inventory, as an effort to strengthen accountability and administrative order within the faculty.

The review was formally received by the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, the Head of the General Affairs Division, the Heads of Working Groups (Pokja) from each unit, the Assistant Expenditure Treasurer (BPP), and relevant staff members within FISIP UNRI.

The SPI Universitas Riau team was led by the Sub-Team Leader, Anunurfaq, S.E., M.Ak., CA., QIA, with team members including Bochari, S.T., M.T., QIA; Riskha Natariasari, S.E., M.M., Ak., CA; Angga Permata Putri, S.Sos., M.H., CPIA; and Radin, M.H. In his presentation, Bochari, S.T., M.T., QIA, as a team member and Chair of SPI UNRI, explained that the Early-Year Review aims to provide initial assistance and ensure the readiness of work units in preparing and implementing programs as well as managing administration for the 2026 fiscal year.
 

He elaborated that the review includes budget planning and realization, financial administration and reporting, BMN management, as well as inventory recording and control, so that all processes can be carried out in accordance with prevailing regulations. He also emphasized the importance of synergy between the SPI team and work units to ensure that financial management, BMN, and inventory are conducted in an orderly, transparent, and accountable manner, while minimizing potential administrative risks in the future.

Meanwhile, the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed his appreciation and support for the implementation of the Early-Year Review by the SPI team of Universitas Riau. According to him, the activity serves as an important momentum for FISIP UNRI to carry out early evaluations, particularly in the management of finances, BMN, and inventory, in order to improve the quality of faculty governance.

“We highly appreciate this early review as it provides guidance and constructive input for FISIP UNRI in ensuring that all financial management, BMN, and inventory are carried out in accordance with regulations and the principles of good governance,” said the Dean of FISIP UNRI.

Through this activity, it is expected that FISIP UNRI will further strengthen accountable, professional, and transparent institutional governance, while supporting the realization of integrity-based university management within Universitas Riau. (Enggy–MY)
