Pekanbaru, [5 December 2025] — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), held the Closing and Appreciation Ceremony for the Committee of the 3rd International Symposium on Environmental and Energy Policy (ISEEP) 2025 as a form of recognition for the dedication and hard work of the entire team who successfully organized the international symposium. The event also marked the beginning of preparations for the 4th ISEEP 2026, which will be held next year.

Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed his deep appreciation for the committee’s performance in his opening remarks.
“I am very proud of the achievements of the 3rd ISEEP 2025. The committee has worked not only with professionalism but also with heart. This event further reinforces FISIP UNRI’s position as a faculty committed to delivering scientific contributions to environmental and energy issues. Thank you for your hard work, and let us prepare to welcome the 4th ISEEP 2026 with even greater energy,” he said.

Similarly, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.Si., also conveyed his appreciation.
“ISEEP is not just a conference; it is an international academic collaboration platform that brings together researchers, practitioners, and academics from various countries. This year’s success is the result of excellent synergy from the entire committee. Hopefully, next year we can present an even richer and more impactful academic experience,” he stated.

Chair of the 3rd ISEEP 2025 Committee, Dr. Mita Rosaliza, M.Soc.Sc., expressed her gratitude to all committee members for their collective work in making the international event a success.
“I am truly grateful to all committee members who have worked extraordinarily. From preparation to implementation, everyone has shown strong commitment. I hope this experience will serve as valuable input to further improve the quality of upcoming ISEEP events. Let us move forward together toward the 4th ISEEP 2026,” she said.

The closing ceremony also marked the conclusion of the committee’s work for 2025. However, the spirit of academic collaboration continues as preparations begin for the 4th ISEEP 2026, which is expected to introduce new ideas, expand international networks, and strengthen FISIP UNRI’s role in global environmental and energy issues.

With the strong support of faculty leadership and increasingly refined experience, FISIP UNRI is optimistic about organizing the 4th ISEEP 2026 with higher quality and broader impact. (RIRY)
