Pekanbaru — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Riau, held the 2025 Performance Achievement Reflection on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Royal Asnof Hotel, Pekanbaru, starting at 1:00 p.m. (WIB). The event was attended by the leadership of FISIP Universitas Riau, the Head of General Administration, Working Group (Pokja) Coordinators from each division, as well as all Heads of Departments and Study Program Coordinators within FISIP Universitas Riau.
This reflection activity served as a strategic evaluation forum for all programs implemented throughout 2025, as well as an effort to strengthen planning and performance improvement for the coming year. The performance reflection is also part of FISIP Universitas Riau’s commitment to realizing professional, accountable, and quality-oriented faculty governance in supporting the tridharma of higher education.
The event began with a welcoming address from the Dean of FISIP Universitas Riau, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si. In his remarks, the Dean emphasized that the performance reflection is an important momentum to assess achievements that have been attained, as well as a basis for evaluation in formulating future faculty policies and development strategies. He also expressed his appreciation to all leaders, lecturers, and educational staff for their dedication and collective efforts throughout 2025.
“The achievements we celebrate today are the result of our collective work as the academic community, including FISIP’s success in obtaining ISO 21001:2018 certification. Through this reflection, we hope to strengthen our strategic steps in facing future challenges,” said the Dean.
Next, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., MA, presented performance achievements in the academic field, which included improvements in the quality of learning, strengthening of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)–based curriculum, enhancement of lecturer and student quality, study program accreditation achievements, as well as progress in research and community service activities.
Meanwhile, the Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., conveyed various performance achievements throughout 2025, including FISIP Universitas Riau securing 1st place in SAKIP at the University of Riau level, 2nd place in the Integrity Zone at the university level, and being selected as the University of Riau’s representative in the Assessment of Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Service Performance (PEKPPP) at the ministerial level. She emphasized that institutional governance and budget management throughout 2025 were carried out in an accountable, transparent, and well-targeted manner to support both academic and non-academic activities. Various programs to improve supporting facilities and infrastructure were also continuously implemented to enhance the performance of the academic community.
The next presentation was delivered by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Dr. Saiman, S.IP., M.Si. He outlined achievements in the student affairs sector, particularly the improvement of student achievements at various levels, strengthening of student organization development, expansion of alumni networks, and increased cooperation with partners at regional, national, and international levels. In addition, FISIP Universitas Riau also achieved the Best PPID I title at the university level, further reinforcing FISIP UNRI’s position as an informative faculty.
In addition to the presentation of performance achievements, the event also announced the presentation of awards to outstanding academic and administrative staff ranked first to third. These awards were given as a form of appreciation for their dedication, loyalty, and contributions in supporting the implementation of the tridharma of higher education within FISIP Universitas Riau.
Through this activity, FISIP Universitas Riau is expected to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of all programs and achievements throughout 2025, while simultaneously strengthening collective commitment to realizing a superior, competitive faculty that delivers a real impact on society. (Enggy-MY)
