Strengthening Digital Transformation, FISIP Conducts Review of the Piawai Application

Pekanbaru, 14 November 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), held a strategic meeting focused on strengthening digital transformation and evaluating the performance of the Piawai Application. The meeting took place on Friday (11/14) in the Akar Beluru Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, and was attended by the Dean of FISIP, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, the Head of General Administration, Chairs of Working Groups across FISIP, and the FISIP Digital Transformation Team. The agenda included a performance review of the Piawai application, discussions on innovation, and future activities of the Digital Transformation Team.

The Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., emphasized the importance of digital transformation as a foundation for modern and adaptive faculty governance.
“Digital transformation is not just a trend, but an urgent necessity for modern educational institutions. Through the evaluation of the Piawai Application and the strengthening of internal innovation, we aim to ensure that academic and administrative services run faster, more accurately, and more responsively to the needs of the academic community,” said Dr. Meyzi.

The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., added the importance of cross-unit collaboration in strengthening the information technology ecosystem at FISIP UNRI.
“We hope that all units present can provide constructive input and work in synergy to create more effective digital services. This is a long-term investment for improving the quality of education at FISIP.”

The meeting and discussion proceeded constructively and resulted in several strategic notes for optimizing Piawai’s features and developing digital innovations for the coming year. The activity concluded with a shared commitment to accelerating the implementation of the agreed follow-up actions.
