Pekanbaru, November 5, 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Riau held a preparatory meeting for the implementation of the Odd Semester Final Examinations (UAS) for the Academic Year 2025/2026. The meeting took place in the DPH Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, FISIP Universitas Riau, at 1:30 p.m. local time.
The meeting was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., the Head of General Affairs Division, Susi Heptariani Z., S.E.Ak., M.Ak., the Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Working Group, Muhammad Arsyad, S.Kom., M.Si., the Head of General and Academic Facilities Working Group, Rudiman, S.Sos., as well as all department and study program staff within FISIP Universitas Riau.
The meeting was chaired directly by Dr. Auradian Marta, who, in his opening remarks, stated that according to the Rector’s regulation, the Odd Semester Final Examinations for the Academic Year 2025/2026 will commence on December 1, 2025. He emphasized that the exam system would continue to be conducted simultaneously across departments, as in the previous semester.
“The examinations are scheduled to run for five days, with timetables adjusted according to the conditions of each department and study program,” he explained.
Furthermore, Dr. Auradian stressed the importance of coordination among all divisions to ensure that the examinations run smoothly, orderly, and in compliance with academic standards. He also reminded all lecturers and educational staff to prepare all administrative requirements, including exam schedules, supervision arrangements, and the readiness of rooms and supporting facilities.
Meanwhile, Dean of FISIP Universitas Riau, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., in a separate statement, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all faculty members in ensuring the readiness of the examinations. He hoped that all parties would maintain their commitment to academic quality and uphold integrity throughout the examination process.
“The quality of exam administration reflects the quality of education at FISIP. Therefore, let us work together to ensure that the UAS is conducted in an orderly, objective, and transparent manner,” he said.
During the meeting, several technical matters were discussed in detail, including the scheduling of exams for each course, supervision mechanisms, and checking the readiness of facilities in each examination room. The discussion was dynamic, with constructive input from representatives of each department and study program to ensure that no significant issues arise during the examination period.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the collective commitment to uphold academic integrity and enhance the quality of examination implementation at FISIP Universitas Riau. With strong coordination among divisions, the Odd Semester Final Examinations for the Academic Year 2025/2026 are expected to run smoothly, effectively, and successfully, providing a disciplined and high-quality examination experience for all students.
