Department of Administrative Sciences Evaluates Civil Servant Candidate Lecturers, Enhancing Professionalism and Academic Quality

Pekanbaru, April 29, 2026 — The Department of Administrative Sciences conducted a performance evaluation of Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) lecturers for 2025 as part of efforts to improve human resource quality and academic performance within the department.

The activity took place in the Akar Beluru Room, Dean’s Building of FISIP. It was led by the Acting Head of the Department of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., and attended by the Department Secretary, Suryalena, S.Sos., M.Si., along with all 2025 CPNS lecturers within the department.

In her remarks, Dr. Mayarni emphasized that this performance evaluation is an important step to ensure that CPNS lecturers are able to carry out the tri dharma of higher education optimally, covering education, research, and community service. She also highlighted the importance of commitment, discipline, and continuous competency development as part of lecturers’ career advancement.

“Through this evaluation, we aim to assess the progress of CPNS lecturers’ performance and provide constructive feedback to support the improvement of academic quality within the department.”

Meanwhile, on a separate occasion, the Dean of FISIP, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed appreciation for the implementation of the evaluation. He viewed this initiative as a reflection of the department’s commitment to maintaining quality standards and lecturer professionalism.

According to him, CPNS lecturers play a strategic role in supporting the faculty’s future performance achievements. Therefore, continuous guidance and evaluation are essential in developing competent and competitive educators.

This evaluation meeting is expected to serve as a momentum to strengthen the performance of CPNS lecturers and to further enhance the quality of education in the Department of Administrative Sciences. (Enggy-RIRY)
