Pekanbaru, 18 November 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), held a DPH Plus Meeting in the Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, FISIP UNRI Dean Building. The meeting, which began at 09.00 WIB, was attended by faculty leadership, department heads, study program coordinators, the Head of General Affairs, working group leaders, and related structural units. The main agenda focused on evaluating work programs in several strategic areas: academics, general affairs and finance, student affairs, collaboration, and alumni relations.
The meeting was chaired by the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si, who opened the session by emphasizing the importance of consolidating performance toward the end of the academic year.
“Evaluating work programs is not merely an administrative routine, but a shared moment of reflection to strengthen the faculty’s governance. We want to ensure that every division moves in alignment, effectively, and in response to the advancement of FISIP UNRI,” said Dr. Meyzi.
Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., highlighted that efforts to improve academic quality must be carried out in a structured and comprehensive manner.

“We need to ensure that the curriculum, academic services, and learning support continue to be enhanced. This evaluation serves as a foundation for setting more strategic and responsive steps to meet student needs and the dynamics of higher education.”
He also stressed the importance of preparing documents and strengthening the performance of study programs to meet various national and international accreditation instruments.
Meanwhile, Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., presented achievements and challenges in managing faculty finances and facilities.

“Transparency, efficiency, and accountability are the core principles of financial and facility governance. FISIP ensures that operational support is running effectively so that all faculty programs can be implemented optimally,” Dr. Mayarni stated.
She added that facility maintenance, administrative strengthening, and accelerated general services remain top priorities as the year-end approaches.
The DPH Plus Meeting proceeded dynamically with reports presented by department heads, study program coordinators, the Head of General Affairs, and working group leaders. The faculty leadership provided input and solutions to strengthen performance in the coming year.
The Dean of FISIP UNRI concluded the meeting by encouraging all leadership elements to continue building strong coordination.
“Synergy is the key to success. With consistent collaboration, I believe FISIP UNRI will be able to maintain its academic reputation and improve service quality for the entire academic community,” Dr. Meyzi concluded.
