This activity marked an initial step to strengthen coordination following the issuance of the Decree (SK) of the FISIP Impactful Campus Team for 2026, while also discussing strategic program planning aimed at improving the achievement of Main Performance Indicator (IKU) 3, namely lecturers’ engagement in activities outside the campus.
The meeting was led by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., MA, who also delivered the opening remarks. In his address, he emphasized that the Impactful Campus Program plays a vital role as a platform for lecturers to actualize the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education outside the campus environment, whether through community service, collaboration with external partners, or involvement in programs based on community needs.

“The Impactful Campus Program is designed to encourage the active involvement of lecturers in off-campus activities that are relevant to their fields of expertise. Therefore, solid coordination is required so that every lecturer activity can be well planned, properly documented, and recognized as part of the achievement of IKU 3,” said Dr. Auradian Marta. He also stressed the importance of cross-unit synergy in supporting the sustainable implementation of lecturers’ off-campus activities.
During the coordination meeting, the team discussed several strategic agendas, including strengthening internal team coordination, mapping the roles and responsibilities of involved lecturers, and planning the Impactful Campus programs to be implemented throughout 2026. These programs are focused on increasing lecturers’ participation in off-campus activities, such as community assistance, collaboration with government agencies and strategic partners, and the implementation of expertise-based community service with direct impact.
On the same occasion, the Chair of the MBKM Acceleration Team of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Nurjannah, M.Si, conveyed that lecturers’ involvement in the Impactful Campus Program is also aligned with the MBKM policy, particularly in strengthening the role of lecturers as facilitators and strategic partners in learning and community service activities outside the campus.

“Through the Impactful Campus Program, lecturers not only carry out academic roles within the campus, but are also directly involved in off-campus activities that provide tangible benefits to society. This constitutes an important part of supporting the achievement of IKU 3 within FISIP UNRI,” explained Dr. Nurjannah.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si, expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the coordination meeting of the Impactful Campus Team as the initial step in carrying out the 2026 program.
