Consolidation and Reflection: FISIP UNRI Ready to Face External ISO 21001:2018 Audit

Pekanbaru, November 3, 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), held a performance evaluation meeting for staff covering the October 2025 period. The meeting, held in the FISIP conference room, was attended by the Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., Head of the General Affairs Division Susi Heptariani Z., S.E., Ak., M.Ak., heads of working groups (Pokja), and all administrative staff of FISIP UNRI.

In her remarks, Dr. Mayarni emphasized that regular evaluations are essential in strengthening governance and fostering a healthy work culture within the faculty. She noted that such forums are not merely platforms to assess performance results but also opportunities to build effective communication, address weaknesses, and enhance cross-department collaboration.

“Evaluations like this are a crucial step to ensure that every work process runs according to standards and targets. Moreover, this forum reinforces coordination among divisions so that the faculty’s performance becomes more solid,” she explained.

She also underlined the importance of weekly briefings for each working group as a mechanism to monitor progress, distribute tasks proportionally, and resolve work obstacles efficiently. A structured and well-coordinated work pattern, she added, will serve as a strong foundation in facing the upcoming ISO 21001:2018 external audit and in strengthening the institution’s performance credibility.

As the audit approaches, Dr. Mayarni reminded all administrative staff to prepare documents and administrative archives neatly and systematically, in line with the standards of the Educational Organization Management System (SMOP). Neatness and orderliness in documentation, she said, are key indicators in the external audit assessment.

Meanwhile, Head of General Affairs, Susi Heptariani Z., S.E., Ak., M.Ak., expressed her appreciation to all staff who have consistently demonstrated discipline and order in carrying out their duties. She encouraged everyone to maintain and improve this positive work culture as the audit period draws near.

“FISIP has long been recognized as a faculty with excellent administrative order and strong work discipline. This reputation must be maintained by continuing to uphold quality and responsibility in every division,” she stated.

The evaluation meeting concluded with a collective commitment to strengthen coordination and enhance the quality of administrative services. Through these regular evaluations, FISIP UNRI continues to strive for professional, transparent, and quality-oriented governance—aligned with its vision of becoming an excellent, integrity-driven, and competitive faculty.
