
Pekanbaru — Universitas Riau (UNRI) held a Coordination Meeting of the Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID) on Wednesday (March 4, 2026) at the Kunto Darussalam Room, 2nd Floor, Rectorate Building of Universitas Riau. The meeting, which began at 10:00 a.m. WIB, was attended by PPID representatives from various work units within UNRI.
The coordination meeting aimed to strengthen the management of public information and to prepare for the 2026 Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of public information disclosure. Several related units were also present, including representatives from the Bureau of Planning, Cooperation and Information Systems, the Information and Public Relations unit, as well as the UNRI PPID Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Team.
The Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems of UNRI, Sofyan Husein Siregar, emphasized that the success of public information disclosure at UNRI largely depends on the active support of all Implementing Unit PPIDs, particularly in preparing the required documents and information in a complete and timely manner. He expressed hope that this coordination would further strengthen public information governance, optimize services, facilitate transparent and easy access to information for the public, and ensure that all processes continue to comply with applicable regulations.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of UNRI PPID, Clara Yolandika, stated that in 2026 UNRI PPID will once again participate in the Monitoring and Evaluation conducted by the Komisi Informasi Pusat (KIP). In addition, PPID Units within UNRI are scheduled to undergo external monitoring and evaluation by the Komisi Informasi Provinsi Riau. Therefore, she urged each unit to immediately prepare supporting documents, including updating the Public Information List (DIP), which covers periodic information, information available at all times, and exempted information in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.

Also in attendance were the Head of PPID of FISIP UNRI, Fajriani Ananda, and the Deputy Head of PPID of FISIP UNRI, Lintang Arum Bagasati. The active role of PPID FISIP UNRI reflects the faculty’s commitment to supporting document readiness and updating the Public Information List, while ensuring that public information service governance within FISIP remains aligned with the University PPID policies ahead of the 2026 Monev.


On a separate occasion at his office, the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Meyzi Heriyanto, stated that orderly, transparent, and easily accessible public information management is an integral part of improving the faculty’s service quality. “FISIP UNRI is committed to ensuring that public information services are delivered promptly, accurately, and in accordance with regulations. Document readiness and the updating of the Public Information List are essential steps to enhance services to the public, while also supporting the 2026 Monitoring and Evaluation agenda,” he said.
Through its participation in this coordination meeting, PPID FISIP UNRI reaffirmed its readiness to support the 2026 Monev agenda while continuing to enhance transparent, accessible, and regulation-compliant public information service governance. (RIRY)
