Pekanbaru, April 7, 2026 — A warm, friendly, and family-like atmosphere characterized the Halal Bihalal event of the Undergraduate Public Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau, held at the SOCIETY Lecturer Building of FISIP UNRI. This event served as a valuable moment to strengthen bonds of silaturahmi (social ties) and reinforce the spirit of togetherness within the academic community following Eid al-Fitr.
The event was attended by the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., the Vice Deans, all faculty leaders, as well as lecturers and educational staff within the Undergraduate Public Administration Study Program. The presence of all these elements reflected the strong sense of family and unity built within FISIP UNRI, particularly in the Public Administration Study Program.
In an atmosphere filled with warmth, the event was not only an occasion for mutual forgiveness and strengthening relationships among academic members, but also a space to reaffirm shared commitments in carrying out duties and service within the higher education environment. The togetherness fostered during this event is expected to become a positive energy in supporting the implementation of the tridharma of higher education, academic services, and the strengthening of institutional governance.
The Head of the Undergraduate Public Administration Study Program, Dr. Abdul Sadad, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the حضور of faculty leaders and the entire extended family of the program. He emphasized that Halal Bihalal is not merely an annual tradition, but also an important medium for maintaining harmony, strengthening communication, and nurturing togetherness in the workplace.

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Dean, the Vice Deans, all faculty leaders, as well as all lecturers and educational staff who have taken the time to attend this Halal Bihalal event of the Undergraduate Public Administration Study Program. Your presence is a meaningful reflection of our togetherness,” he stated.
Dr. Abdul Sadad also added that the spirit of Eid al-Fitr should not stop at ceremonial greetings, but should be translated into a more synergistic work spirit, where all members support and strengthen one another within the faculty.
“Through this momentum, we hope that the bonds of silaturahmi that have been established will grow even stronger, communication among colleagues will improve, and the spirit of togetherness in developing the Undergraduate Public Administration Study Program and FISIP UNRI as a whole will continue to be maintained. Ultimately, a family-like atmosphere such as this is a key strength in creating a healthy, productive, and harmonious academic environment,” he added.
In line with this, the Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs of FISIP UNRI, who is also a lecturer in Public Administration, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., conveyed that Halal Bihalal holds significant meaning in strengthening togetherness, not only at a personal level but also in building a harmonious and supportive working environment within academia. According to her, warm and solid relationships among academic members are a crucial foundation for achieving good faculty governance and delivering higher-quality services.

“Halal Bihalal is not merely a tradition, but also a valuable space to strengthen social bonds, foster a sense of belonging, and maintain the spirit of togetherness within FISIP UNRI, especially in the Undergraduate Public Administration Study Program. With strong unity, it becomes easier for us to move forward together in carrying out our duties, improving services, and building a more conducive academic atmosphere,” she explained.
The Halal Bihalal event held at the SOCIETY Lecturer Building of FISIP UNRI proceeded in a warm and friendly manner.
