“The Fast Track Program is a breakthrough that requires joint commitment, both in terms of academic management and financing. Therefore, the determination of study periods and UKT/SPP fees must be carried out carefully, transparently, and fairly, in order to provide certainty for students and parents,” stated the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs in his directive.

The presence of these cross-unit leaders reflected synergy in the decision-making process, ensuring that the policies adopted take into account academic, administrative, and technical aspects.

In addition to discussing study periods and UKT/SPP fees, the forum also reviewed other important issues considered necessary to support the sustainability of the Fast Track Program. These included the readiness of digital infrastructure, integration of IT-based academic systems, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and comprehensive student support services.

Dr. Auradian Marta, as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FISIP, expressed his appreciation for UNRI’s efforts in designing academic policies that prioritize student interests. According to him, the active involvement of faculties in this forum is a form of shared responsibility to ensure that the policies taken not only have administrative impacts but also support the quality of the teaching and learning process.

Through this meeting, Universitas Riau reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improve the quality of higher education through adaptive, transparent, and future-oriented management patterns. The outcomes of this discussion are expected to provide a solid foundation for the implementation of the Fast Track Program so that it can run more effectively, efficiently, and deliver tangible benefits to students, parents, and the wider community.
