
Pekanbaru, September 11, 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), welcomed a working visit from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Riau (FP UNRI). The meeting, held at the FISIP UNRI Dean’s Meeting Room, centered on strengthening the Integrity Zone, managing integrated laboratories, optimizing the role of the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID), and developing public relations strategies to support professional and transparent university governance.
The visit was attended by the leadership of FISIP UNRI: Dean of FISIP, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si.; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A.; Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si.; Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Dr. Saiman, S.IP., M.Si.; Head of the FISIP Laboratory, Dr. Baskoro Wicaksono, S.IP., M.IP.; Head of Public Relations and Head of PPID FISIP, Dr. Fajriani Ananda, S.Sos., M.Si.; along with the Heads of Working Groups at FISIP UNRI. From FP UNRI, the delegation was led directly by Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Ahmad Rifai, S.P., M.P., accompanied by Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Evi Sribudiani, S.Hut., M.S., along with representatives of the Integrity Zone, PPID, and Public Relations teams. This activity symbolized a joint commitment to strengthening faculty governance that is not only accountable but also responsive to the needs of the public and the academic community.
In his remarks, Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed high appreciation for FP UNRI’s initiative to build collaboration and share experiences. Dr. Meyzi emphasized that cross-faculty cooperation is a strategic step to strengthen institutional integrity and improve the quality of public services within UNRI. “Through synergy like this, we can learn from each other, complement one another, and together build a university oriented toward good and transparent governance. We are always open to collaborating with other faculties, including the Faculty of Agriculture. By strengthening cooperation in the areas of Integrity Zones, Laboratories, PPID, and Public Relations, we can reinforce the university’s role in society,” said Dr. Meyzi.

Meanwhile, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture UNRI, Dr. Ahmad Rifai, S.P., M.P., conveyed his gratitude for the warm welcome from FISIP. He emphasized that this visit was not only a networking forum but also an important avenue to broaden insights, adopt best practices, and seek joint solutions in strengthening the implementation of the Integrity Zone, Laboratory, PPID, and Public Relations. “The Faculty of Agriculture is ready to collaborate with FISIP. We believe this synergy will further strengthen UNRI’s contribution to regional development,” explained Dr. Ahmad.

Head of Public Relations and concurrently Head of PPID FISIP UNRI, Dr. Fajriani Ananda, S.Sos., M.Si., delivered a presentation on public relations strategies and the management of public information governance at FISIP. She highlighted that public relations plays a crucial role in building a positive institutional image while ensuring accountable information transparency. Dr. Fajriani added that FISIP’s consistency in managing information transparency has borne fruit, with the achievement of First Place as the Best Implementing PPID at Universitas Riau. This accomplishment serves as motivation to further enhance public information services that are responsive, transparent, and aligned with the needs of service users.

The activity continued with an interactive discussion session involving participants from both faculties. The discussion explored shared experiences, challenges faced, and strategies that could be applied to support the development of the Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK), as well as strengthening information transparency and public relations.


The visit concluded with an emphasis on the importance of joint commitment and the sustainability of inter-faculty collaboration, so that Universitas Riau can continue to grow as a stronger, more transparent, and trusted institution in delivering the best services to the community.
