Pekanbaru, April 6, 2026 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), continues to strengthen its commitment to building an adaptive, productive, and service-oriented academic work environment. One of the concrete steps now realized is the operationalization of the FISIP Lecturer Building under the spirit of SOCIETY—an acronym for Solutive, Objective, Intelligent, Inclusive, Entrepreneurial, Resilient, and Confident.
The operationalization of this building is not merely interpreted as the utilization of physical space, but also as an effort to reinforce a more progressive work culture and academic atmosphere within FISIP UNRI. The values of being solutive, objective, intelligent, inclusive, entrepreneurial, resilient, and confident must be reflected in how we work, serve, collaborate, and contribute academically to society."
Dr. Meyzi added that the operation of the SOCIETY Lecturer Building is expected to enhance lecturers’ professionalism while creating a more comfortable, well-organized, and productivity-supporting work environment. Thus, FISIP UNRI is not only improving its infrastructure but also building a strong institutional character that is relevant to the current needs of higher education.
Meanwhile, the Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., stated that the operationalization of the building is part of facility management improvements aimed at supporting the effectiveness of faculty governance.
