Strengthening Discipline and Integrity, Monthly Morning Assembly at FISIP UNRI Reinforces a Collective Work Culture

Pekanbaru, April 8, 2026 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), held its monthly morning assembly as part of efforts to strengthen discipline, integrity, and work culture within the faculty. The event took place in the courtyard of the FISIP Dean’s Building and was attended by the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., Vice Deans, representatives of Professors, the Head of General Affairs, Heads of Working Groups (Kapokja), the Head of PPID FISIP, all administrative staff, security personnel, and cleaning staff.

Serving as the assembly supervisor, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., emphasized in his remarks the importance of maintaining a strong work ethic as the foundation for delivering excellent services to the academic community. He highlighted that every individual within FISIP plays a strategic and interconnected role in supporting institutional performance.

Dr. Auradian also reminded participants of the importance of carrying out responsibilities professionally and with full awareness. According to him, integrity is the key to building public trust, and therefore every task must be performed with honesty, discipline, and accountability.

Furthermore, he stressed the importance of fostering an adaptive and collaborative work culture. “A strong work culture is not only reflected in individual discipline but also in our ability to coordinate, communicate, and support one another in completing tasks. Effective coordination will minimize obstacles and ensure that every program runs optimally,” he stated.

All members of the FISIP UNRI community are encouraged to maintain solidarity and continuously improve the quality of services, both in academic and administrative areas. With a spirit of togetherness, FISIP is expected to continue developing as a professional, responsive, and service-oriented institution.

Meanwhile, the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., who was met after the assembly, stated that the monthly morning assembly is not merely a ceremonial routine but also a reflective moment to strengthen collective commitment in carrying out respective duties and functions.

He noted that the involvement of all elements—from leadership and administrative staff to supporting personnel—demonstrates that the strength of the organization lies in team solidarity. “We want to ensure that all elements within FISIP share the same spirit in working, uphold integrity, and continuously improve service quality. With a strong work culture and effective coordination, FISIP will be better prepared to face future challenges,” he said.

Through this monthly morning assembly, FISIP UNRI reaffirms its commitment to building professional, transparent, and service-oriented institutional governance.
