Pekanbaru, October 3, 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau (FISIP UNRI), continues to strengthen its steps in improving the quality of education by holding a Management Review Meeting (RTM) on ISO 21001:2018. The meeting took place at the DPH Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the FISIP UNRI Dean Building, on Friday (3/10/2025) from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This event marked an important milestone with the signing of the ISO 21001:2018 Commitment by the Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si.; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A.; Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si.; Heads of Departments and Study Programs; Heads of Laboratories; and the Head of Public Relations/PPID FISIP. The commitment will also be signed by all elements of leadership and governance at FISIP UNRI. This signing reflects FISIP UNRI’s strong dedication to preparing for the ISO 21001:2018 certification audit.
Dean of FISIP UNRI, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., emphasized that the implementation of the Educational Organization Management System standard is part of the faculty’s commitment to providing high-quality academic services with global competitiveness.
"ISO 21001:2018 is not just about documents, but about building a culture of quality at every level—from learning processes, academic services, to institutional governance. With a spirit of togetherness, we are optimistic that FISIP UNRI is worthy of achieving this certification," stated Dr. Meyzi.
The RTM, led by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., addressed several important agendas, including follow-up status from the previous internal audit, changes in external and internal factors relevant to the management system, as well as information on performance and the effectiveness of ISO 21001:2018 implementation.
The forum also reviewed stakeholder satisfaction, monitoring and measurement results, continuous improvement follow-ups, and opportunities for enhancement that can further support educational quality at FISIP UNRI.
Through this RTM and the simultaneous signing of the commitment, FISIP UNRI reaffirmed its determination to continuously improve the quality of academic services and governance, while optimistically preparing for the ISO 21001:2018 certification audit.
