Benchmarking of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPK) to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Riau University

On Juny 26, 2024, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Riau University welcomed a visit from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPK) regarding the development phase of the Integrity Zone for Corruption-Free Areas and Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Areas (WBK and WBBM). The visiting delegation consisted of the Vice Dean II for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Iskandar Putra, S.Pi., M.Si, the Administrative Coordinator, Bakhtiar Efendi, S.Sos., M.Si, and the Sub-Coordinator for General and Academic Facilities, Suhardi, SP.

The FPK delegation was greeted by the Vice Dean II for General Affairs and Finance of FISIP, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si, The Chairman of the senate, Prof, Dr. Yusmar Yusuf, M.Psi, the Administrative Coordinator, Susi Heptariani Z., S.E, Ak, M.Ak, the Academic Sub-Coordinator, Syuryanti Iskandar, S.H, the Student Affairs Sub-Coordinator, Shaffia Mia Friana, S.Kom, the Finance and Personnel Sub-Coordinator, Khudriani, S.P., M.Si, as well as the academic staff of FISIP at Riau University.

This benchmarking initiative reflects the commitment and active participation of both parties in establishing an Integrity Zone within the academic environment.

In her remarks, Vice Dean II of FISIP at Riau University, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si, expressed gratitude for the visit from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science and extended full support for the planned development of the Integrity Zone in their faculty. Dr. Mayarni emphasized the importance of integrity as a fundamental principle and hoped that this initiative could inspire other faculties at Riau University to follow suit.

On a separate occasion, the Dean of FISIP at Riau University, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si, conveyed his appreciation for the visit. Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Dr. Iskandar Putra, S.Pi., M.Si, also expressed high appreciation for FISIP, as their faculty is entering the development phase of the Integrity Zone and preparing to establish integrated services as well.
