Tanjung Belit Village, November 15-17, 2024 – The Public Administration Study Program of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Riau successfully organized the PEMANIS PADI VOLUME 9 event in Tanjung Belit Village, Kampar Kiri Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The event involved students, faculty advisors, and the local community, featuring a range of activities from community service to educational and recreational programs.

The event commenced with an opening ceremony led by the Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni, Dr. Saiman Pakpahan, S.IP., M.Si., who expressed his hope that the activity would strengthen collaboration between the academic community and the public. "This activity is a form of real service to the community. I hope participants use this opportunity to learn and make meaningful contributions," said Dr. Saiman.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Administration Study Program, Dr. Dadang Mashur, S.Sos., M.Si., highlighted the importance of collaboration in improving community welfare. "PEMANIS PADI is not just an annual program but a tangible effort to bring students closer to social realities. We hope students gain a deeper understanding of compassion and sustainability in public service," he stated.

Field advisors, Dr. Fajriani Ananda, S.Sos., M.Si., and Khairul Amri, S.Sos., M.Si., actively guided participants through various activities, such as ice-breaking sessions, morning exercises, and core events like hiking, tree planting, and a social evening filled with artistic performances and group discussions.

Bupati Himanistik, Fajri, also provided support to participants and the organizing committee. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of solidarity among students and the commitment to remain actively involved in impactful community activities. "This event is tangible proof that students do not only learn in classrooms but also offer solutions and direct contributions to society," he said.

The event's Chief Organizer, Alifian Agung, expressed gratitude for the collaboration among the committee, participants, and the community. "We deeply appreciate everyone who supported this event. We hope PEMANIS PADI VOLUME 9 brings great benefits to the people of Tanjung Belit Village and offers valuable experiences for all participants," he said.

The event also focused on sustainability and environmental preservation, represented by tree planting activities as a symbol of FISIP Universitas Riau's contribution to climate change mitigation and local ecosystem conservation.

The event concluded on Sunday, November 17, 2024, with a closing ceremony and participant reflections. PEMANIS PADI VOLUME 9 is hoped to serve as a momentum to continue strengthening the spirit of community service and environmental care, both among students and the residents of Tanjung Belit Village.
