FISIP Universitas Riau Holds SINTA Clinic for Lecturer Data Update

Pekanbaru, October 16, 2024 – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Riau is once again organizing a lecturer data update event through the SINTA Clinic, which will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024. This event, aimed at updating lecturers' data on the SINTA (Science and Technology Index) platform, will take place in the Akar Beluru Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Dean's Building, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM WIB.

The Dean of FISIP Universitas Riau, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., emphasized the importance of this data update for lecturers, particularly in improving research and community service performance indexes. "The SINTA Clinic is part of FISIP's commitment to support the updating of lecturers' data. With updated data on SINTA, lecturers can more easily monitor their research and publication performance," explained Dr. Meyzi.

Vice Dean 1 for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., added that this event also provides an opportunity for lecturers to receive technical guidance on managing their data on SINTA. "This event is designed not only for data updating but also to provide a deeper understanding of how to effectively use the SINTA platform," said Dr. Auradian.

Meanwhile, Vice Dean 2 for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., underscored the faculty's full support for this event. "The faculty is committed to facilitating all forms of lecturer competency development, including in administrative aspects such as data updating on SINTA. We hope that with more accurate data, FISIP lecturers will be better equipped to submit research and community service proposals in the future," stated Dr. Mayarni.

The SINTA Clinic will be led by resource person M. Rafi, S.IP., M.I.P., a lecturer from the Department of Government Science, who will provide technical guidance to lecturers regarding updating their data on the SINTA platform. It is hoped that this SINTA Clinic will offer maximum benefits to FISIP Universitas Riau lecturers in enhancing academic performance and publication.
