The Multimedia Laboratory of FISIP University of Riau is an academic facility under the management of the Department of Communication Studies. This laboratory serves as a center for practical activities, media production, and the development of student competencies in the fields of mass communication, journalism, advertising, to digital-based creative content production.
Functions and Objectives
The Multimedia Laboratory was built to support practice-based learning processes in the Department of Communication Studies with the primary objectives of:
Providing hands-on experience to students in the process of media production and visual communication content management.
Developing students' technical abilities in the fields of broadcasting, photography, videography, graphic design, and audio-visual editing.
Becoming a research and innovation space in the field of digital communication and mass media.
Supporting academic activities, research, and content production for faculty and university publications.
