Pekanbaru, December 11, 2024 – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Riau held a significant event aimed at improving the quality of education. The event, which took place in the Coordinator Room of the Master’s Program in Public Administration (MPA), involved a review of the Conversion Supplement Instrument (CSI) document for the MPA program. It was attended by the Dean of FISIP Universitas Riau, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., the Head of the MPA Program, Dr. Hasim As'ari, S.Sos., M.Si., the Head of the CSI Team, Dr. Abdul Sadad, S.Sos., M.Si., as well as all members of the CSI team and internal reviewer, Dr. Hasanuddin, M.Si.
Starting at 10:00 AM, the agenda featured Dr. Hasanuddin, M.Si., as the internal reviewer, who provided constructive feedback on the CSI document. In his opening remarks, the Dean of FISIP, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed appreciation for the hard work of the entire team in preparing the document. “I hope this review process ensures that the resulting CSI document meets all accreditation standards set by BAN-PT, thereby solidifying the excellence of the Master’s Program in Public Administration at FISIP Universitas Riau,” said Dr. Meyzi.
Meanwhile, the Head of the MPA Program, Dr. Hasim As'ari, emphasized the importance of collaboration and precision in preparing the document. “We must ensure that every piece of data presented in this document reflects the best achievements of the MPA Program to positively impact its sustainability in the future,” he stated.
Dr. Abdul Sadad, S.Sos., M.Si., Head of the CSI Team, remarked that the activity was a strategic step to refine the document before submission. “We are deeply grateful for the support from all parties involved, especially Dr. Hasanuddin, M.Si., for his insights, feedback, and guidance in perfecting this CSI document,” he said.
This review is expected to yield optimal results in enhancing the accreditation of the MPA Program at FISIP Universitas Riau, thus addressing the increasingly competitive challenges in higher education. The event concluded with an in-depth discussion between the CSI team and the reviewer, resulting in several key recommendations for improving the document.
