On November 5, 2024, at 8:30 AM WIB, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Riau held a monthly performance evaluation meeting as part of efforts to implement the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and Clean and Service-Oriented Bureaucratic Zone (WBBM) programs within the Integrity Zone. The purpose of this meeting was to evaluate staff productivity and performance while analyzing work achievements from the previous month.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si, Administrative Coordinator, Susi Heptariani Z., S.E, Ak, M.Ak, Sub-Coordinator of Academic Affairs, Syuryanti Iskandar, S.H, Sub-Coordinator of Human Resources, Khudriani, S.P, M.Si, Sub-Coordinator of Student Affairs, Shaffia Mia Friana, S.Kom, along with all non-permanent and civil servant administrative staff. The presence and roles of all these parties reflect the faculty’s strong commitment to improving performance and services in line with the desired Integrity Zone standards.
During the meeting, Dr. Mayarni, as Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, emphasized the importance of monthly performance evaluations to assess how well staff can provide the best services to students. Improving service quality is a primary focus in efforts to overcome various challenges and obstacles that may arise. By conducting regular evaluations, FISIP Universitas Riau has a foundation for continuously enhancing its service standards and quality.
Susi Heptariani Z., SE. Ak., M.Ak., as the Administrative Coordinator, stressed the need for a strong understanding of each staff member's roles and responsibilities to improve work productivity. Discipline was also viewed as a key factor that must be seriously considered within the faculty's work environment. Ensuring a clear understanding of duties, responsibilities, and work discipline is an important initial step toward improving the efficiency and effectiveness of staff performance at FISIP Universitas Riau.
Sub-Coordinator of Human Resources, Khudriani, S.P, M.Si, also emphasized the importance of staff discipline, particularly regarding attendance. Consistent and timely attendance reflects a person's commitment and professionalism in performing their duties. By paying attention to this aspect of discipline, it is hoped that staff performance can be well-maintained and have a positive impact on all activities in the academic environment.
In this performance evaluation meeting, awards were also given to the best non-permanent and civil servant administrative staff for the third quarter as appreciation for their dedication and contributions. FISIP Universitas Riau is firmly committed to implementing the WBK and WBBM Integrity Zone and creating a transparent, clean, and efficient work environment. These steps are taken to provide the best service for service users, including students and the general public. By creating an environment of integrity and professionalism, FISIP Universitas Riau is expected to maintain and increase public trust in this educational institution as a provider of reliable, quality educational services.
