Pekanbaru, October 16, 2024 – The organizing committee of the 2nd International Seminar on Environmental, Economics, and Public Policy (2nd ISEEP) held a meeting to review the progress report and the readiness of each division for the international symposium, which will take place on October 24, 2024, at Prime Park Hotel Pekanbaru. The meeting was led by the Head of the Committee, Dr. Dadang Mashur, S.Sos., M.Si., and attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Riau, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., along with Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., Vice Dean II for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., all division leaders (PICs), and the organizing committee.

Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., Dean of FISIP Universitas Riau, expressed his appreciation for the committee’s hard work, saying, "I highly appreciate the efforts made so far to ensure the success of the 2nd ISEEP 2024. This symposium is an important step in strengthening FISIP Universitas Riau's contribution to international dialogue on environmental, economic, and public policy issues."

Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., stated that the preparations have been going well, "We ensure that all scientific manuscripts to be presented meet international standards. I am optimistic that this international symposium will have a significant impact on the development of knowledge in various related fields."

Meanwhile, Vice Dean II for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., emphasized that the symposium's budget has been well-managed in accordance with regulations, "We have ensured that all technical needs and budget items are optimally prepared so that the event runs smoothly and effectively."

The Head of the Committee, Dr. Dadang Mashur, S.Sos., M.Si., highlighted the importance of collaboration and teamwork in this final preparation stage, "I thank the entire committee for their dedication. Progress so far has reached 80 percent, and I am confident that the 2nd ISEEP 2024 will be a success with our collective efforts."

The 2nd ISEEP 2024 will bring together academics, researchers, and practitioners from various countries to discuss global challenges in the fields of environment, economics, and public policy. It is expected that this event will serve as a productive platform with positive impacts.
