On September 26, 2024, the Doctoral Program in Public Administration of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Riau conducted a workshop to discuss the presentation of the preparation results of the Instrument Supplement Conversion (ISK) form. The event was held at the Royal Asnof Hotel and was attended by the Dean of FISIP Universitas Riau, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si, Vice Dean 1 for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A, Vice Dean 2 for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si, homebase lecturers Prof. Dr. Sujianto, M.Si, Prof, Dr. Zaili Rusli, M.Si, Prof. Dr. Seno Andri, M.Si, Head of the Department of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Febri Yuliani, S.Sos., M.Si, Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Public Administration, Dr. Adianto, S.Sos., M.Si, as well as lecturers teaching in the Doctoral Program in Public Administration.
The workshop was opened by the MC, Rosa Sahwinda, S.ST., M.M. A welcoming speech was delivered by Vice Dean 1 for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A, who explained that this activity aims at the accreditation process for the Doctoral Program in Public Administration. Dr. Auradian also mentioned that achieving "Excellent" accreditation would have a positive impact not only on the university and faculty but also on the students and graduates of this study program in the future.
During the event, Dr. Febri Yulianti, S.Sos., M.Si acted as the moderator and facilitated the discussion along with the Internal Assessor of Universitas Riau, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si, who served as the evaluator and speaker for the day. In the discussion, Dr. Meyzi provided explanations about the regulations and procedures for filling out the ISK form instrument. One of the challenges faced by the accreditation team was their tendency to use accreditation form instruments from other departments as examples. Due to the lack of data compatibility in completing the accreditation form, the accreditation team needs to compile the documents first before creating the narrative. The common practice has been to write the narrative first before compiling the documents, which can lead to data inconsistencies in the ISK form that do not align with the instructions. This Doctoral Program has 62 items in the accreditation evaluation, all of which need to be prepared. The assessment usually consists of quantitative, qualitative, or a combination of both evaluations.
The workshop included a question-and-answer session involving accreditation team members on how to complete the ISK form and how to gather the necessary documents. Dr. Meyzi and Dr. Adianto provided advice and tips on how to fill out the forms and collect the documents effectively. It is hoped that the Doctoral Program in Public Administration achieves an "Excellent" accreditation.-Enggy-RR-
