Pekanbaru, December 17, 2024 – The Master of Public Administration (MAP) Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Riau, has officially submitted the Supplementary Instrument for Conversion (ISK) to achieve excellent accreditation. This submission followed a series of rigorous reviews conducted by the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit (SPMF) and the University’s Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance (LPPMP).
Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., Dean of FISIP Universitas Riau, expressed his appreciation for the hard work of the ISK team and all parties involved. "This ISK submission is a major step for the MAP program to enhance its academic quality and competitiveness. We are confident that the MAP program will achieve excellent accreditation, which not only enhances FISIP's reputation but also creates greater opportunities for graduates to face global challenges," said Dr. Meyzi.
Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at FISIP Universitas Riau, emphasized that the success of this process reflects strong synergy among the ISK team, SPMF, and LPPMP. "We deeply appreciate the team's dedication in ensuring all aspects of the ISK document align with BAN-PT standards. We hope that achieving excellent accreditation will serve as a foundation to continue driving innovation and quality education at FISIP Universitas Riau," stated Dr. Auradian.
Meanwhile, Dr. Abdul Sadad, S.Sos., M.Si., Chair of the ISK Team for the MAP Program, expressed gratitude for the team’s efforts throughout the process. "This process involved intensive collaboration from various parties, including document evaluation and discussions with reviewers. We hope this submission marks a positive start toward achieving excellent accreditation for the MAP Program," said Dr. Sadad.
Dr. Hasim As’ari, S.Sos., M.Si., Head of the MAP Program, also expressed his confidence that excellent accreditation will enhance the program's appeal. "With excellent accreditation, we can contribute more significantly to producing high-quality, innovative graduates who are ready to tackle the complexities of public administration at both the national and international levels," explained Dr. Hasim.
The ISK submission is part of FISIP Universitas Riau's commitment to continuously improve the quality of education, respond to societal needs, and advance the field of public administration. The MAP Program remains optimistic about achieving excellent accreditation and elevating FISIP Universitas Riau’s reputation on the national stage.
