Pekanbaru, October 1, 2024 – The leaders and academic community of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Riau participated in the Pancasila Sanctity Day commemoration ceremony on Monday, October 1, 2024, at the University Rectorate Building's field. The solemn ceremony was attended by the Dean of FISIP, Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., accompanied by Vice Dean 1 of Academic Affairs Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.A., Vice Dean 2 of General Affairs and Finance Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si., and Vice Dean 3 of Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation Dr. Saiman Pakpahan, S.IP., M.Si. Also present were Professors, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, Heads of Study Programs, Administrative Coordinators, Sub-coordinators, Head of FISIP Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID), as well as all teaching and administrative staff within the FISIP Universitas Riau environment.

In a brief interview with the FISIP Public Relations Team, Dean of FISIP Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto emphasized the importance of maintaining Pancasila's values as the state's foundational ideology, which must continue to be implemented in social and national life. "Pancasila is not just a slogan but a guide in facing the nation's various challenges. Its values must always be preserved and applied in every step of our lives," said Dr. Meyzi.

The Pancasila Sanctity Day ceremony became a moment for the entire academic community of FISIP Universitas Riau to strengthen their commitment to practicing Pancasila and actively contributing to nation-building.

The ceremony concluded with a joint prayer as an expression of gratitude and hope that the values of Pancasila will remain a strong foundation for the unity and integrity of the Indonesian nation.-Riri-
