The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau, held a meeting to finalize the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) in the Akar Beluru meeting room. The meeting was attended by Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.Si, Vice Dean II for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si, and the entire SAKIP Team of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau.

Dr. Auradian Marta, S.IP., M.Si, emphasized the importance of SAKIP implementation in enhancing government agency accountability and performance. He underlined that SAKIP is not merely an obligation but a vital instrument for ensuring transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness in delivering public services. With SAKIP, government agencies are expected to be more focused on achieving their objectives and providing the best possible service to the public.

Dr. Mayarni, S.Sos., M.Si, provided guidance on the importance of transparent and accountable financial management in the context of SAKIP. She highlighted the critical role of sound financial management in supporting the achievement of government performance targets. By applying principles of accountability and transparency in financial management, government agencies are expected to gain trust from the public and other stakeholders.

This SAKIP finalization meeting also served as a platform to align understanding and commitment among all members of the SAKIP Team at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau, to conduct continuous evaluation and improvement of government agency performance. Through collaboration and synergy among team members, the implementation of SAKIP is expected to proceed smoothly and provide maximum benefits for improving public services.

The SAKIP finalization initiated by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau, marks a positive first step in efforts to enhance accountability, transparency, and performance in government agencies. With shared awareness and commitment, SAKIP is expected to become an effective tool for fostering clean, responsible governance capable of delivering high-quality public services.
